Self-Venting Tap & Cap For 20/25 Litre Container

This tap and cap fitting is used to fit a standard plastic 20 or 25 litre jerry can container. The cap has a 2 inch (60mm) thread.

The tap can be swiveled so that the tap faces the direction needed. The tap itself has a split outlet and a small pipe that allows air to flow unhindered back into the tank when the tap is on. This relieves the air pressure inside the tank so that a fast flow rate can be maintained even though the container is sealed. It also means the flow is 'glug-free' which reduces spillage. The tap is made of food grade polyethylene with polopropylene (PP) spigots. This is an easy and simple set up that is ideal for dispensing water or other beverages from your food grade 25 litre plastic container.
