Need to put an outlet in your water tank or barrel? Here's a range of boss or bulkhead fitting to enable you to do that.
Take a look at their descriptions to see which option would be best for you.
If you are unable to get inside your tank very well or if you tank is particularly large then I would say the bulkhead fittings would be best.
The boss fittings if fitted in the conventional way will have he female thread on the outside of the tank and the male thread with the nut on the inside. You can switch this around however it will mean a male thread on the outside.
The bulkhead fittings require the nut to be on the outside. The nut and thread is opposite so when a fitting is screwed in it will only ever tighten the fittings.
We also have some spacesaver bulkhead fittings if it's quite a tight access into your tank or barrel.
