60 x 6mm Adaptor to BSP Thread

These adaptors are made of robust black plastic and they come with a thick seal. These adaptors screw onto a 2" (60mm) IBC buttress thread. Different sizes are available from the drop down menu below; all the adaptors end in BSP thread sizes as either a male or female thread apart from one adaptor.

The last adaptor in the list goes to a 2 inch Male RJT fitting which is generally a thread used in the food industry. The outside diameter of this RJT fitting is 73 mm and it has a thread pitch of about 4-5 mm.

The adaptors are used to attach your IBC to any fitting that uses male or female BSP threads, these include: hosetails, valves, taps, plastic pipe, bends, T-sections and reducers. 

To ensure you have the right outleted IBC to fit this IBC fitting you should double check that your IBC outlet is 2" wide and has a very coarse buttress thread (having a maximum of 2 or 3 threads) on the outside.

The female threaded IBC adaptors also have a swivel connection which will relieve any pressure that connecting any fittings or pipework to the valve will cause and will also allow you to connect a tap and have it facing in the direction that you choose.
