This water filter is placed inline and acts to prevent pump damage and reduce impeller wear. The filter is suitable for many pumps and has two 1 inch male BSP threads. This thread can screw into a 1 inch BSP female thread of a water pump. To attach securely to a 1 inch BSP hose, a 1 inch BSP hosetail and 1 inch BSP female adaptors would be required, these and other fittings can also be purchased from this website. The filter can be easily removed to be cleaned or replaced as needed.
