¾ inch Brass Float Valve & Boss / Bulkhead Fitting For Water Tanks

A boss fitting and float valve combo for you to be able to fit straight into your water tank.

This set up will come with all the fittings you require to install a float valve into your water tank which include:

¾ inch Boss fitting
¾ inch BSP Brass Back Nut
¾ inch BSP Brass Float Valve
6 inch Float
a 1 inch BSP Female to 25 or 32 mm MDPE Pipe Connector Bend

The ¾ inch BSP Female Boss fitting has a 1 inch BSP Male thread with a back nut. The size of the hole required to fit into your tank would be 42 mm.

You will need to screw the ¾ inch brass float valve into the female thread of the boss, apply sealant such as Loctite or PTFE tape up to the backnutt on the float valve and nip up to tighten.

Apply the float and on the inside of the tank push the fitting through the drilled hole. Ensure the float valve stays in the correct position and in line when screwing the back nut on the male thread on the outside of the tank.

Optional choice of a 25 mm or 32 mm MDPE Pipe connector bend which screws onto the male thread on the outside of the tank for your inlet.
